What types of items can our laser engrave?

The 60W laser system is highly versatile and accommodates a vast range of mediums, limited mainly by shape or size:Wood & MDF: Excellent for cutting and engraving. Woods like cherry and walnut produce crisp results, while vector scoring can be used for quick marking.Acrylic: Cast acrylic engraves into a bright white color, and both cast and extruded acrylic can be cleanly cut. Stone & Glass: Can engrave granite, marble, slate, and glass (often requires masking tape or dish soap for smooth etching). Metals: While CO2 lasers cannot engrave bare raw metals directly, the SN2616LR can mark on powder-coated metal, anodized aluminum, and metal treated with thermal marking sprays (e.g., Cermark). Fabrics & Leather: Can engrave genuine leather, synthetic leatherette, and various fabrics. It is ideal for patches or custom apparel.Plastics: Safe for standard engraving plastics, but it cannot cut or engrave certain synthetics like PVC.

Can we laser engrave or cut metal?

The AP Lazer SN2616LR uses a CO2 laser source. It cannot cut or directly engrave bare metal, but it can engrave coated metal or bare metal if pre-treated with a chemical spray (like Cermark or Enduramark). For laser cutting and engraving capabilities, consider these key facts:Metal Engraving: You can mark metals (such as stainless steel, aluminum, brass) using a metal marking spray, which creates a permanent black bond on the surface when hit by the CO2 laser. Metal Cutting: CO2 lasers cannot slice through metal. To cut metal, you require a different technology like a Fiber Laser. Non-Metal Engraving & Cutting: The SN2616LR shines on non-metals. It excels at cutting and etching wood, acrylic, leather, fabric, glass, stone, and tile. Open Architecture Design: This machine features a patented "Low-Rider" carriage and removable cart. This allows you to roll the laser unit over oversized, heavy items (like granite monuments, caskets, or large tables) that standard closed-cabinet lasers cannot accommodate.

3. Assign your FAQ to a category 
4. Save and publish.

Yes. To add media follow these steps: 
1. Manage FAQs from your site dashboard or in the Editor 
2. Create a new FAQ or edit an existing one 
3. From the answer text box click on the video, image or GIF icon 
4. Add media from your library and save.

How do I edit or remove the 'Frequently Asked Questions' title?

Accepted Answer

You can edit the title from the FAQ 'Settings' tab in the Editor.  
To remove the title from your mobile app go to the 'Site & App' tab in your Owner's app and customize.
